I am currently going to griefshare. I am at the 3rd session ended. I am thinking of quitting. I thought it would be more ecumenical. They seem to say jesus is the answer for all your problems. That is too simplistic i believe. Should i share this with them or quit going ? I don't feel safe telling them what i really think.

Praying for you. I feel your words. I lost my mom three months ago and the world suddenly looks darker and more evil to me. I'm a 54 year old man but I'm truly finding out how much of a mommas boy I am. I miss her very much. I lost my sister in April. Dad passed in 2010. I'm the last of my family and I'll say it....I'm scared too

@QueenSpicyMama I am so sorry. Are you doing any grief counseling?? I go once a week plus there's a group once a month that is available through the hospice that cared for my mom, I go to that too. It helps but the best way I can describe this kind of grief is that it comes in waves and when it comes there is no stopping it but I also know from when my dad died, those hard cries are healing that's going on within. I love my dad and my sister, who was also unexpected, she had a heart attack at 64, but it's different with Mom as I'm finding out because it's mom

Lost our son to suicide February 2021 then lost my husband of 42 years December 2021. It was like shock upon shock 2021/2022 for 2 years and now 2023 I am coming out of shock and I am not doing well. More bad days than good. My faith is the only thing I have, but I am so alone and I don’t care anymore

I raised a little girl not my blood from 2 yrs old to 13 yrs old then she went to her sister's house and then she went wild she passed away 1 year ago at 17 yr old now I have persistent complex bereavement disorder at 65. My life is senseless now I have to take one hour at a time

Yea but he also said he would protect us, n give us long life. So how can I belive anything else?
God never promised all believers we would live a long time and never get hurt. He promised that to select people in scripture. The real promise for all believers is that we would have a life full of growth, challenge, and meaningful relationships, namely our relationship with Him, and that our spirits would live forever with Him after this world, with it's pain and confusion, passes away. This world is temporary, but God's love never ends, even when we don't reciprocate that love.

I was so full of joy and love, but then something happened to me and then i got numb now i dont know how to come back there or feeling love again. I dont feel any emotions anymore. This is horrible.
I'm not happy with god. He has caused too many problems in the world. If god was that great we wouldn't have starving people and a world full of evil. I think we need a new God. Is there an election process? If not, can we make one up?
The Almighty God, Yahweh, is still concerned about the well-being of people on earth. He showed His love to us through the sacrificial life of His son Jesus Christ that anyone who would believe in Him wouldn't perish but have eternal life. Kindly note that not all men have accepted to live under the Lordship of Jesus Christ so life has been a mixer of the good and bad and not all have the perfect peace of God. Kindly come to a point today and tell God you need Him in your life and Christ should make His way in your life, you shall receive peace to live a life of fulfilment. God never intended the earth to be like this. There is a new world in Christ to make us a new and to have eternal peace. Seek for His mercies and grace to help you. We would rather need people with new and transformed lives, not new god.

How do I know if I'm numbing emotions? I feel so depressed even after years... its not gone away... my overall grief is much better... except I still have trouble doing simple tasks
